Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is an ages old healing system that addresses disharmonies in the mind-body-spirit of the patient. Various modalities are used to assist patients in the journey of creating and maintaining balance within the physical body and psyche.
Hair thin needles are inserted to adjust and realign the energy, or Qi, flow in the body. The points are selected in accordance with your specific diagnosis. After insertion patients report feelings of deep relaxation and calm.
Acupuncture is effective at treating most conditions. Some common conditions that we see include:
musculo-skeletal pain and discomfort
reproductive and gynecological health
general well-being support
"Jess and her medicinal artistry came to me during a time when a linear, Western approach to seeking the "cause" and eradicating all traces of the "problem" did not partner with the wild, full-bodied expression I was experiencing. A fierce listener to all manner of signs and symbols, Jess was both a wide open field of allowing, and a precise, potent flashlight through my journey to be "with" my body during a bone-deep transformative moment that required equal parts raw and resilience and regal ritual. In brief, Jess is the real deal. And I wouldn't be here on the other side, in the way that I am now, without her."
